good work to all those out there who contributed, volunteered, supported, and voted for democrats. yesterday was a big win for the democratic party. sadly a race i did all i could for came down 45:50. living in “michigan’s second most conversative district” i still feel proud about that showing, and am elated at the expression of progressive politics.
-Mitt’s dentist only uses the finest gold.
In other news, I think the dems are going Barry-O for their nomination. While the R’s managed to pick a guy who can’t win his state in a senate reelection. It’ll be great to see if Santorum can win New Hampshire (or Pennsylvania’s) nomination by electorate rather than caucus.
Unfortunately tonight I realized; win or loss, I’m going to see these already ripened nominating apples in future Republican Presidential nominations. Which leads me to my other realization; win or loss, Mitt only gives victory speeches.
tonights fact: Herman Cain received 58 votes. In fairness, most were from lunchladies at the cafeteria where the caucus was held in favor of “Pizza USA”
“In the end we’re not fighting these battles for ourselves. We’re fighting for our daughters and our granddaughters. We’re fighting for the world we want them to have.”—First Lady Michelle ObamaThe First Lady helped launch Women for Obama yesterday, and she wants to know if you’re in. How about it?
President Barack Obama challenged Congress to put the good of the nation over political benefit and pass a huge jobs plan he proposed tonight.

In reality, this plan would cost more than 700,000 Americans their job and end Medicare for seniors. FACT CHECK:
message me your email and I’ll be happy to send invites your way. we can be social network friends and you can have your very own circle.
Though I doubt his staff will ever glance at what I had to say; rest assured. My comments to the speaker were greatly concerned with the level of selfishness at the expense of our nation.
True patriots and public servants carry out their duties faithfully, whole heartedly, and without bias. This is blatantly a desperate ploy for power. Under no circumstance, preventing the U.S. from meeting its financial obligation can be a reasonable ultimatum. If you believe the national debt is an issue - develop a sensible budget and not a hostage situation.
Boehner needs to grow a pair of balls and accept his party does not have political dominance for a reason; that reason being, their continual disservice to our nation in the last decade. You break it, you bought it … now pay up. Grow a pair of balls Mr. Speaker and man up, you have a job to do.
Joking aside let the head of Congress know, that under no condition, is a scheme the way to conduct policy.
Republicans today deliver a no to Obama’s grand bargain. As Warren Buffet has said, “[they] are willing to blow american’s brains out over the debt limit”. Beyond a doubt their sole purpose is to damn America in hopes of whatever ambition they have to regain the dominance they once held.
This is Ron Johnson best known for _______
ok hes a freshman tea-party senator of Wisconsin so you wouldn’t know him at all, and if you do, you won’t know him in government for long.
Thats mostly because hes keeping up the tea-party crazy up in congress by pulling a one man filibuster of the debt ceiling negotiation.
If this issue was likened to family situation that would be like dad going on strike from paying the mortgage forcing the rest of his family to go homeless.
We have a situation in Michigan where our governor has committed the ultimate abuse of power. He has given himself the ability to fire our local elected officials and replace them with an emergency financial manager. Aside from the ridiculous pay he receives he wields the ability to fire mayors and city managers allowing him unilateral municipal control. So far governor Snyder has enacted this measure in several cities across Michigan.
Now these emergency managers are exercising their power. Firing dozens of state employees abrogating contracts and undermining democracy as we know it.
Now they turn their power on to our natural recourses. Recently our state legislature decided their trust for Snyder’s management of our recourses was non existant; so much so that they handed over management of our state’s greatest treasure, the great lakes, from snyder to the local government.
Acting almost strategically the EFM for Pontiac has decided that the city will be privatizing water. If you don’t find this outrageous, maybe you would like to consider the next point to this. The firm that Pontiac’s water will be handed over to has been previously found in violation of “The Clean Air and Water Act”. Who can cry foul against our governor as he is one of the most powerful state elected officials in the country. He holds absolute power and its absolutely corrupt.
